THESE PATTERNS THAT INHABIT THEM
Cartographic_Fragments

Entities_March, 2025

These patterns that inhabit them is the rite of a collective that reaffirms its belonging to a place, a habitat that inhabits it and to its cycle of life. The photographs have been taken in the space and set where the performance-ritual took place.

Entities are wearing cartographic clothing that represent the way in which this collective makes the world. Each garment is made of two different fabrics with multiple fluid, organic shapes. The clash between these two different elements creates lines of encounters that are at once traces and paths, but also points of access, passages between an interior and an exterior or vice versa. Some of these sinuous lines that cross the entity’s bodies are white, they appear like mycelium or lightning bolts in the dark, as reference points, singular marks that run through the clothes and unite the collective. The garments are unique pieces, made with deadstock fabrics.
